We're excited to have Milou Stella of Moody Bright Designs back, running her Embroidery for Wellbeing sessions!

This is an open and welcoming space for you to learn simple embroidery skills and discover the wellbeing potential of this calming activity.

Join Sunny Jar, our new community eco hub, to learn to make reusable bags from fabric offcuts, such as vegetable produce bags, a drawstring bag or bread bag.  

You will be shown how follow a simple pattern and how to sew the bags using a sewing machine. Fabric will be available, however participants are encouraged to bring any fabric that can be upcycled. No sewing skills necessary, all levels welcome.



Making Monsters - Shadow Puppetry Workshop

8th June | 1.30-4.30pm | Free

Meet some mythical monsters from the ancient world, then join puppeteer and storyteller Tinka Slavicek to create a shadow puppet theatre retelling a monster’s story in your own unique way.

All materials provided; no prior expertise required.

Suitable for ages 12 to adult (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)

This is a free workshop but spaces are limited so booking is essential.

In this course, you'll learn how to harness the Branding, Product Development and Marketing processes of major companies and brands and how to apply these processes to pursue your professional vision. We'll explore and deepen the definition of Who You Are as an Artist-Brand or Small Business by:

• Examining your Identity vs. your Artistic or Business Identity

• Uncovering your Core Values or Pillars,

• Defining a Mission or Vision Statement for your Artist-Brand or Small Business


Target Audience: Artists, Musicians, and Creative Entrepreneurs 

Petal will also share a powerful process in which you learn how to identify and research your target or ideal audience for your unique talents, art, or products and services. 

You’ll leave this course with the foundations of your Business Plan in addition to a Style Guide, or map of your businesses Marketing assets (logo, colors, etc.). 

Workshop Leader : Petal Largie, aka aka www.artist-2artist.com , developed her unique and intuitive coaching style via years of professional work in Journalism and Qualitative Market Research as a Fashion Trend Forecaster. Her clientele includes: Audio Branding, Creative, Marketing & Digital agencies, and Market Research companies.

Largie is presently based in Berlin, Germany where she lectures as a Branding Expert for Music Pool Berlin and conducts Masterclasses and Career Counseling with the BIMM Institute franchise (DE, UK).

Mobile Apothecary

Join us in the Phytology meadow to harvest spring herbs that support our immune systems and offer nourishment at this time of year.

We will share knowledge at Phytology with a guided plant walk before heading to the Create Place with our harvest to make a skin soothing lotion together and sample a ‘spring first aid tea’.
