TAI CHI

The ancient Chinese martial arts of Tai Chi Ch’uan and Qigong are practised as tranquil moving meditations. Whilst Tai Chi involves stepping and moving the whole body, Qi Gong offers standing postures with only the arms in motion. Both focus on groundedness and balance, with a deep inner connection though breath. These exercises help to build up your Qi (life force), renew it and store it for greater vitality and health. Regular practice develops flexibility, mindfulness, lightness of being and compassion.
