Nicola has been practising yoga for the past 12 years and teaching for almost 4 years. She is an Ashtanga student and teacher but also shares many different forms of yoga including vinyasa, yin, restorative and meditation techniques.
She is an Ayurvedic oil massage therapist and studies this healing art continuously as well as studying yogic texts such as the Bhagavad Gita with relevence and emphasis on relating it to the way we live our lives today and how we can incorporate this ancient wisdom into our everyday lives.
Nicola’s own personal journey has taken her from the depths of anxiety, depression and addiction to a healing place of peace, harmony and joy. Therefore she shares her knowledge of the science, art and philosopy of yoga with a depth of compassion and non-judgemental understanding in a down to earth and gentle healing manner. She is honored and humbled to lovingly hold and encourage others to make the space in body and mind as she guides a journey to a deeper understanding of self through the physical form. Her classes are fun and relaxed yet mentally engaging and physically rewarding.
She brings a strong feminine healing element to all of my classes, whether Ashtanga or Yin, as she feels a universal need to connect with that part of our being for a more harmonious individual being as well as universal future.
Nicola teach in yoga centres, community centres, gyms and workplaces throughout London as well as individuals of all ages for more specific requirements.
She lovingly thanks her teachers, Hamish Hendry, Stuart Gilchrist, David Garrigues, Stephen Thomas and Gaby Pascoli, as well as so many inspiring beings which keep her going on this beautiful path and enables her to share the joy of living through the vehicle of yoga.
